Terms and Conditions

Thank you for booking your wedding/function/conference at River Park Place. To ensure the satisfaction of yourself and your guests, the following terms and conditions apply:

Cancellation by Client

We realise that circumstances may arise which make it necessary for you to cancel your event. Please refer to our packages for the Terms and conditions applicable depending on your type of event.

Confirmation of numbers

An initial indication of the number of guests is required when you confirm your booking and final numbers 7 days prior to the function date. All dietary requirements within the 7 days.

Responsible service of alcohol

As we are a fully licensed venue, guests are not allowed to bring any alcohol onto River Park Place premises. In accordance with the liquor act, responsible service of alcohol will be practiced. All guests must be able to produce photo I. D. if asked. If they cannot produce the correct identification they will be considered underage and therefore can not consume alcohol on premises.

River Park Place is licensed from 10am until 12:00pm. Extensions to these hours are available on request, with a minimun of 3 weeks notice being required for special permits. A fee is applicable.

Smoking policy

River Park Place is a smoke free venue. Guests and visitors are required to adhere to the Queensland Government Tobacco Laws. Smoking areas are provided and fines are applicable for persons in breach of the tobacco laws.

Payment

Our preferred method of payment is cash, cheque (please allow 7 days for clearance), electronic transfer , eftpos, credit card (2.5% surcharge fee, please note we do not accept American express).

Damage

Unfortunately, on occasion, accidental damage may occur. In this instance, if it is necessary to repair, or replace the damaged item(s) the costs for repairs or replacement will be the sole responsibility of the function client.

River Park Place will take extreme care with any goods delivered prior to your function. However, we cannot accept liability for loss or damage and suggest that appropriate insurance cover be arranged.
